Fashion and Design (Microcredential)
This microcredential is a great entry point for students seeking a design 程序 that highlights the history of fashion.
A foundation of drawing and digital imaging courses provide hands-on learning and opportunities to increase technical proficiency using industry-standard equipment and software. Additional courses in the history of fashion and art provide students with the context and understanding needed to pursue further education in the forms and styles of Western dress and fashion.
All four courses are required and/or electives in the college’s 美术A.S. 或数码媒体A.S. 程序, and students who complete the microcredential are encour年龄d to continue their education at the associate degree level and beyond.

Program Learning Outcomes
Upon the completion of this microcredential, students will be able to:
- Demonstrate proficiency with the basic techniques that will develop observational drawing skills.
- Identify and write critically about the common themes in the social context of dress (status, 性别, 年龄, 组成员, 仪式, sexual attractiveness) from the Renaissance to the 21st century and analyze contemporary examples.
